Dear Parent(s),
This is a note to better inform you about AR Reading Tests. Our students all have an AR goal for each month. The 4th grade students will be responsible for getting a minimum of 13 AR points per month. The 5th grade is responsible for getting a minimum of 13 AR points per month. The students need to get at least half of their monthly AR points by reading chapter books, the other half can be reached with picture books on their reading level. I will keep track of the AR points at school. I will have the students write their score and points each time they take a test in their school planner (so parents can stay updated also). The students have to receive a grade of 80% on the AR Test to pass and receive the points. The students will be allowed to test any day of the week. If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at 785-731-2352 or e-mail me at [email protected] Thank you for your cooperation and support!
Thank you
Mrs. Walker
